Characteristics of Caravan Parks
Some people love to travel and camp in the wilderness in their motor homes. However, many others would rather camp in an RV or caravan park for a small fee. The nice thing about staying in caravan parks is that these venues typically have amenities that make camping more comfortable. Specially made for motor homes, these venues often have electrical, water, and sewer systems which motor home campers can avail of. Some even provide cable television and wireless Internet so campers can maintain contact with the outside world. In more expensive parks, there are swimming pools, game rooms, and even cabins for rent. Some also offer destination-resort activities such as horseback riding, trekking, and mountain climbing. To facilitate easy movement of vehicles and people, many parks feature paved pathways, cemented roadways, and marked or manicured parking slots. Modern caravan parks are built to high environmentally friendly standards. For example, some have wastewater treatment facilities to treat and conserve water. Some have strict rules for visitors to follow to maintain the cleanliness of the venue.
