Going Mobile, Going Online
These days, Internet connection is considered as a necessity more than a luxury. It is not merely a place of chat rooms, personal messengers, social media networks, dating sites, forums and blogs. It is a whole sphere that affects the way students do their research, the way mass media outlets communicate and the way we communicate. In homes and in offices, being connected to the Web is a daily, even hourly, need. So, imagine how it would be if you would go mobile for a whole week, a whole month or even for the rest of your life. This would be the case if you decide to live in a motorhome or if you need to work in a mobile office.
Not all motorhomes come with Internet access. Even if you find a campground where you can park your caravan for a certain period of time, you still would not get a guaranteed Wi-Fi connection. This is because not too many trailer parks or caravan camps come with Internet connectivity. If they do, it can come as an extra expense. Fortunately, there are now satellites dishes for camper van owners to be able to connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere. These are able to locate and lock onto other satellites that offer Web connectivity. They are able to do this through global positioning system technology. There automatic antennas that can automatically search for signal. There are also tripod antennas. The latter is less expensive, but it also requires time for setting up. Another way to get Internet connection while moving around is to get a mobile phone contract with a service provider that can offer you wireless Internet connection. This way, you will be able to use your mobile phone or personal digital assistant to go online wherever you may be.
