Types of Motor Homes
There are three situations that usually enter the mind when one thinks of motorhomes. First, some people believe that one lives in a camper van only because he or she finds it to be a low cost alternative to owning a home or renting a flat. Or, others imagine nearly all caravans to be stationed in parks where one can spend a nature holiday. Still, others associate the image of a motorhome with top class vehicles that have high end amenities. So, they consider motorhomes to be luxurious homes. All these conceptions are realistic and true. However, one must realise that there are plenty of types of camper vans out there. They are not limited to just one, two or three kinds. In fact, anyone who wants to purchase a motorhome will find himself facing a difficult decision.
One of the most well-known types of camper vans is the class A ones. Depending on the extravagance of the manufacturer or owner, this type of motorhome can have various amenities and facilities. It can come with at least one bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a sitting room. It can have a fridge and an oven, plus an air conditioning and/or heating system. Internet connection and a flat screen telly can be found in many camper vans, too. To power these items, many motorhomes are equipped with their own generators. A lot of these vehicles are built this way and can even be customised according to the wishes of a buyer. However, many buses are also converted into luxury camper vans. Less expensive caravans are also available in the market. There are class B camper vans that have sufficient amenities. There are also small and lightweight teardrop trailers that can easily be towed ordinary vehicles or even motorbikes.
